Algoma Public Health Confirms New COVID Case


Algoma Public Health is reporting a new case of COVID-19 in the Algoma district through contact tracing, and have notified all close contacts directly.

Sunday’s confirmed case brings the total number of confirmed cases in Algoma to 58. The person was tested on November 11th and self-isolating.

The confirmed cases over the past two weeks include central and east Algoma as well as Sault Ste. Marie and area.

Of the 58 confirmed cases in Algoma, 10 remain active at this time.
