Algoma Public Health is confirming the region’s 45 and 46 cases of COVID-19.
APH said both cases were tested on November 2 and self-isolating.
One case from close contact. The other case from international travel.
APH said it notified close contacts directly, and that if you were not contacted by them, you were not considered a close contact.
It goes on to say the case is evidence of ongoing community spread in Sault Ste Marie and the surrounding area.
