If you thought it was summer this past weekend, you wouldn’t be mistaken!
Sault Ste. Marie shattered heat temperature records 2 days in a row.
While we had snow on the ground at the same time last year, Sunday saw a 1945 record high of 16.1C beat out by a high of 19.9C, and Monday broke a 1999 high of 19.4C with a new record high 23C.
Things will change quickly this week as more normal like temperatures return with a chance of snow by Friday as a major low pressure system moves in.
Will we see another heat record broken before end of 2020? Time will tell….
The ground is too warm for snow to accumulate just yet…I HOPE.
