A chance to win one of the prizes in the picture is available at Savoy’s in Station Mall.
The Lung Health Foundation is selling tickets tonight in hopes of raising $4,000. There will be 200 tickets sold at 20 dollars each and with the 20 dollars you also get a ornament with a chance to win other various prizes.
Rodger Rosset is one of the owners of Savoy’s and says they have been doing this for 22 years.
“The lung health organization is a wonderful organization,” said Rosset. “Savoy’s jewelers feels that it’s important for businesses to give back to the community that supports it so well.”
Grace Briglio is the manager of community engagement for the foundation. She explained how this year is a little different.
“Normally this is the kickoff to festival trees every year. But this year, because of circumstances, we’re going to be here at the station mall selling tickets,” said Briglio. “So the tickets are $20 each with a chance of winning the $1500 diamond piece of diamond jewelry. And with that $20 you get an ornament from the tree.”
They will be there until 8 p.m. tonight and if it’s not sold out by then they will be back tomorrow night for the event.
The Lung health foundation is running other events throughout the Christmas season including a 50/50 draw and a raffle.
