Single Vehicle Accident on West End

Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. – A single vehicle accident sent occupants for a bit of a ride Sunday evening.

Emergency services responded to a black pick-up truck on it’s side just north of the intersection of Goulais Avenue and Second Line West.

Crews were seen removing individuals out of the passenger side door. An official on scene said there appeared to be no serious injuries.

The Public Utilities Commission was called in as the truck damaged a guideline for a hydro pole.

Officials were on scene for over an hour dealing with the incident.

  1. Looks like a big Ford pickup truck involved. People who drive oversized trucks should realize they aren’t invincible and should drive more safely. It trends to be the oversized vehicles that try and run others on the road over and speed excessively. Unfortunate.
