Two Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance


On November 2, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 18-year-old Breanna Carpinteiro and 22-year-old Austin Printess-O’Neill for possession of a controlled substance.

At 8:42 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on Wilson Street. Mr. Printess-O’Neill was in the driver’s seat and Ms. Carpinteiro was in the passenger seat. Upon approaching the vehicle officers observed what was believed to be Cannabis on the centre console of the vehicle.

Officers asked the two accused to step out of the vehicle in order for officers to conduct a search of the occupants and the vehicle under the Cannabis Control Act. Upon searching the vehicle officers located open containers of Cannabis and 102 pills, believed to be Methamphetamine, labeled ICE.

Both of the accused were arrested. Officers formed reasonable suspicion to believe Mr. Printess-O’Neill had drugs in his body and administered a Standardized Field Sobriety Test. He failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Test.

Mr. Printess-O’Neill is charged with possession of a controlled substance and impaired driving – alcohol and drugs. Ms. Carpinteiro is charged with possession of a controlled substance. Both of the accused are scheduled to appear in court on December 7, 2020.
