Man Charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle

On December 15, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 33-year-old Abraham McMillan for theft of a motor vehicle.

It’s alleged at 8:30 a.m. the accused stole a car in the 300 block of Great Northern Road. It’s further alleged at 9:35 a.m. the accused attended a business in the 200 block of McNabb Street and stole approximately $88 in items and left without attempting to pay.

It’s further alleged at 1:45 p.m. the accused attempted to steal a truck in the 600 block of Great Northern Road, and while doing so caused damage to the vehicle and stole items from inside the vehicle. It’s further alleged at 1:50 p.m., the accused stole a truck from another location in the 600 block of Great Northern Road, driving it to another location on Great Northern Road, and when he left the vehicle he stole the keys, a wallet and cell phone.

He was located at 3:25 p.m. and arrested. He is charged with two counts of theft of a motor vehicle, attempted theft of a motor vehicle, mischief under $5,000, three counts of theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property under $5,000. He was held for bail court.


  1. So what i got out of this is that you have to steal more than one item, like 2 cars, one truck plus other thefts to be arrested. Shoplifting is fine as the police wont even bother to come as the judges don’t do a thing to these people.
