Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the age of 80.

Beloved husband of Judithe (nee Lidkea) for 57 years. Cherished father of Karen Noakes (Dan), Bill (Karen), Gerry Jr. (Angel) and Charlotte Gagnon (Sean). Loving and devoted Papa of Jarrett & Shelby Noakes (fiance Connor), Amy (Ashton Roberts) & Rachel Maniacco, Joshua & Ryan Maniacco, Jacqueline, Tanner & GeriAnn Gagnon and great grandfather of Carter Roberts.

Predeceased by his parents Carl and Juliette Maniacco. Dear brother of Rosalie Lapossie (late Robert), Sandy Pruce (Andy), the late Valerie Nardo (late Giovanni), the late Palmer “Sonny” (late Denise and late Donna) and the late James. Brother-in-law of Roger Lidkea. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry was an extremely devoted husband and family man. Munna enjoyed playing hockey well into his 70’s. He loved the outdoors, farming, hunting, fishing and bonfires. We will always remember and cherish those special moments at his annual birthday party at the farm. Jerry was a generous man with his time and his talents.

Friends and family are invited to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E 705 759 2522) for a visitation on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 11:30 am until 1 pm. (maximum 40 people at a time, masks and social distancing are required). A private service will be held. Friends are invited to view the service online starting at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 10, 2020 and can be viewed anytime up to 90 days.
