  1. So now our elected officials and the traffic department are going to screw up yet another very busy street and plug up traffic even more. What I’m referring to is that now that the paving is done on Northern Ave they are going to squeeze traffic down to one lane in front of the PeeWee Arena and Metro towards Great Northern Road to allow for a bike lane. This will snarl traffic at probably the second busiest intersection in town. They just screwed us all in allowing Pino to put a traffic light only a few hundred yards away from the busiest intersection in town at 2nd Line & Great Northern Road. The lights aren’t activated yet but the traffic heading to the light from the north are already lined up through those lights in order to turn onto the by-pass and to get through the intersection. What’s wrong with these people ? What a joke these decisions have been. They’re bringing traffic to a halt and tempers are going to flare out of control. We’re going to end up with accidents with people trying to turn 3 cars on a yellow/red. They already screwed the pooch with the Bay Street and St. Georges Ave modifications so now they’ve done it to the two busiest intersections in town. What a freakin’ joke these councilors and Department of Works people are. πŸ“·πŸ“·πŸ“·πŸ“·πŸ“·πŸ“·πŸ“·Please share so everyone knows about how stupid our city is and can forward their complaints.
