Ontario to announce COVID-19 task force today

TORONTO — Premier Doug Ford is expected to unveil Ontario’s COVID-19 vaccine task force today.

Ford said yesterday the team is being finalized and the province will be ready to distribute the vaccine whenever it arrives.

The task force will include medical, information technology, and logistics experts.

Earlier this month, the province announced retired Gen. Rick Hillier will lead the task force.

Health Minister Christine Elliott says the team will also include a bioethicist who will make recommendations about who should receive access to the vaccine first.

The province’s chief medical officer of health has also said some regions of the province could be moved today into further restricted measures in the province’s pandemic response.

  1. So Pfizer has been granted emergency approval on a COVID vaccination, which means these trials have been rushed.
Consistency over the past several decades including recent years Pfizer’s drugs & products have directly led to many deaths. Pfizer has also been charged with falsifying reports and trial findings.
Their standard process has been to settle out of court for many millions of dollars, there’s even currently court actions.
Now imagine, if that’s what happened during regular “unrushed” trials, what can we expect from rushed trials pushed through under emergency approval?
All this risk for a vaccine that’s currently only showing a 30% efficacy rate (if those trials can be considered accurate which are often over reported using the best results). That’s not even mentioning Pfizer reporting some rather harsh side effects that include flu-like symptoms that are dangerous for at-risk groups.
