On January 7, 2021 officers with Patrol Services arrested 27-year-old David Risi for impaired driving – blood alcohol concentration (80+).
At 9:28 p.m. officers observed a vehicle driving erratically in the east end of Sault Ste. Marie. Officers observed the vehicle and subsequently conducted a traffic stop in the area of Glen Avenue and Simon Avenue.
Upon speaking with the accused officers developed grounds to believe the accused had been drinking. The accused provided a sample into an approved device and registered a fail result.
He was arrested and charged with impaired driving – blood alcohol concentration (80+). He is scheduled to appear in court on February 22, 2021.
