Heavy police presence on Albert Street


At approximately 5:30 p.m. SaultOnline was informed of a large police presence in the city’s west end. Sault Ste. Marie Police services had a section of Albert Street completely blocked off.

Lincoln Louttit, communications manager for Sault Police Services, provided this statement.

“Officers executed a search warrant in the 600 block of Albert Street West,” said Louttit. Six people were arrested.”

Further information will be released as it becomes available.
