On February 11, 2021 officers with Patrol Services charged 33-year-old Darren Kudyba with impaired driving – alcohol and drugs.
At 1:20 p.m. officers observed a vehicle suddenly pull over to the side of the road and the driver exit the vehicle and begin walking away from the area. Officers conducted a traffic stop and asked the driver to return to the vehicle. Officers identified the driver as the accused and upon speaking with him developed grounds to believe his ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by drugs.
He was provided a Standardized Field Sobriety Test which he performed poorly. He was arrested and later given a Drug Recognition Evaluation in which he performed poorly.
He is charged with impaired driving – alcohol and drugs. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 22, 2021.
