Public assistance sought identifying suspect in robbery


Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of robbery.

On February 4, 2021, at approximately 5:13 pm, an unknown male entered a convenience store in the 200 block of Wellington Street West.

The unknown male proceeded to threaten the store clerk with a knife and left the store on foot with approximately $350 in cash.

The suspect is described as 6 ft, wearing sunglasses, dark parka, blue beanie hat, jeans, dark brown work boots, and a light blue backpack.
