the Medicine Wheel: What can we learn in COVID?

What does the medicine wheel have to teach us about isolation through COVID?

A lot, actually!

There are many people who are struggling with their mental health as COVID has forced everyone to isolate from loved ones.

Cynthia McCutcheon and Patricia Toulouse joined SaultOnline via Zoom for a discussion on Health and Wellness through COVID.

Patricia Toulouse shares with SaultOnline a crash course on what the medicine wheel can teach us in times of COVID.  Medicine wheel teachings are a practice, and this video offers a window into these teachings. Toulouse is an Ojibwe mother and grandmother of Sagamok Anishnawbek.  She practices Earth medicines and treats ailments by individual symptoms.  A traditional medicine practitioner with Maamwesying, she provides a traditional approach to medicine for community members along the North Shore.

This is the first part of a series of conversations with Patricia and Cynthia about Health and Wellness through COVID.  Check back for more teachings to come in the near future!
