2nd Dose of Moderna Vaccines given to Batchewana Elders today

Batchewana has announced the second dose of the Moderna vaccines will be distributed to the Elders at the Elders complex on Rankin on March 2, 2021. My Aunt Agnes was one of the elders chosen to get their second dose today.

The first dose of the vaccine was distributed to 21 members of the Elders Complex and Elders of the community as a part of the first wave of vaccine delivery.

March 4, 2021 the first doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be distributed to Batchewana First Nations priority elders at the Rankin Arena.

The vaccines are being distributed by the health team at Batchewana Non Dway Gamig Health Centre.
