Man Charged with Assault with a Weapon


On March 2, 2021 officers with Patrol Services charged 29-year-old Paul Quesnel with assault with a weapon.

On February 26, 2021 the accused was involved in a confrontation with a person known to him and it’s alleged he stabbed the victim and fled the area. The victim was transported to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

The accused was located on March 2, 2021 and arrested. A subsequent search of the area of arrest found the accused to be in possession of a small quantity of suspected fentanyl.

He is charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a controlled substance. He was held for bail court.
