Heavy police presence in the west end (photo gallery)

Sault Police Services had a west end street shut down, April 20, 2021 (Dan Gray/SaultOnline.com)

Just days after emergency services responded to a fire in the 300 block of Albert Street west, they were in the area again.

Sault Police Services had Albert Street closed between Toronto and Huron Street.

The Ballistics vehicle, patrol units and the Emergency Services Unit were on scene for what a neighbour told me was nearly an hour.

A video circulating online shows at least 3 individuals being taken away from the scene in patrol cars. A witness who lives in the area said she counted five for sure.

SaultOnline has reached out to Sault Police Services for comment and will bring their statement too you when it becomes available.

  1. Thank you Dan for doing a great job at informing the community about what’s going on around town. You are always well above the crowd. Thank you.
That’s why we made SAULT ONLINE, our source of local information.

  2. It is obvious there are undercover officers in these pics. I really don’t understand how you can publish these photos, and perhaps identify or put these peoples lives in danger. Your discretion should be more professional when publishing photos.
