On March 31, 2021 officers with Patrol Services charged 43-year-old Richard Rogers with impaired driving – blood alcohol concentration (80 ).
Around 7:30 p.m. officers attended the area of Wallace Terrace and Goulais Avenue regarding a possible impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
Upon approaching the vehicle and speaking with the accused officers developed grounds to believe the accused’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
The accused provided two breathe samples into an approved device and registered two fail results. He was arrested. Further investigation determined the accused was a disqualified driver.
He is charged with impaired driving – blood alcohol concentration (80 ) and driving while disqualified. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 26, 2021.
