Well, we did it. It’s Friday and that means we are back with another episode of 705 Sports! A personal friend of the show, Dan Gray, joins me at the desk and we have a lot to talk about. We don’t waste any time and break down everything in the world of sports that happened this week and what will be happening in the upcoming weeks.
In the first segment, Dan & I talk about what happened with the Montreal Canadiens. We talk about the good, the bad, and where this team stands moving forward. We then move on to the drunken stupor that was Nikita Kucherov in his post-game interview. Bud Light might be happy with the free product placement but myself and Dan are disappointed with the Lightning and the N.H.L itself.
In the second segment, we wrap up the Lightning Habs series including a look at an issue involving the goalie’s pads. We then move on and talk about how Ontario moving into stage 3 will help sports teams all across the province. This is big news for the Jays, Raptors, and the C.F. L. Next up are the Blue Jays and we talk about how they are doing this season. To wrap this segment up we go over key dates for the N.H.L expansion draft.
In the third and final segment, we keep up with the N.H.L offseason. Today marks the first day when teams can start to buy players out. We then move on to some Leaf updates with players that they are keeping, players they might let go, and new players that the Leafs are looking to pick up. Next, we discuss some trade rumors that are already starting to swarm social media.
That’s all she wrote for this week! Thank you to everyone who is watching. Always stay locked to ONN TV and Saultonline for all your sports needs!
