Big Rigs Roll into St. Ignace for 25th Year

This year (2021) marks the 25th Anniversary of the Richard Crane Memorial St. Ignace Truck Show in downtown St. Ignace, MI; just across the Mackinac Bridge in the Upper Peninsula. This crowd favorite show draws show trucks and spectators from around the Midwest and Canada. The event is taking place September 17-19 with downtown St. Ignace closed off from Marquette Street to High Street for the show. Show headquarters will be at Little Bear East arena located at 275 Marquette St.

We’re excited to welcome M&K Truck Centers as the continued title sponsor of the show; over the years, M&K’s presence at the event has expanded significantly with a goal of connecting with customers, drivers, and trucking enthusiasts while displaying the industry’s best brands. M&K represents Mack, Volvo, Hino, and Isuzu trucks; Wabash, Benson, East, Transcraft, and Vanguard trailers, and Renegade Motor Coaches. “This year we plan to show off some of the finest new and used commercial truck and trailer products on the market and look forward to another successful St. Ignace Truck Show as Title Sponsor,” said Josh Wolf, Vice President of Operations.

Truck registration begins Thursday at 9AM with the National Association of Show Trucks (NAST) at the helm again this year while 50+ vendors and sponsors roll into town to display and sell their goods. Friday night from 6-9 and Saturday afternoon from 2-5, join us for a free outdoor concert with Bob Seger tribute band “Lookin’ Back” and Billy Joel tribute band “Allen Town”, from Detroit. Unfortunately, due to the closed international border, Ice Road Trucker Alex Debogorski will not be joining us. However, Optimus Prime Truck Replica will be on display Saturday from 10-4.

“As events director of the St. Ignace Visitors Bureau, I’m heavily involved in all major events in St. Ignace and the Truck Show is one of my favorites, hands down,” says events director Quincy Ranville, “The Parade of Lights is one of the coolest things you’ll see all year in St. Ignace,”

Don’t forget to camp out downtown St. Ignace or near the Mackinac Bridge Saturday evening at dusk for the Parade of Lights Bridge Crossing, the most popular and well-loved bridge parade of the year.
