A first wave of heavy rain and thunderstorms moved through overnight, but round two starts Saturday morning. A deep upper level low pressure system headed with an active warm front will continue to push through the area today – along with muggy air – before a cold front associated with the same low sweeps through later today. This system is packing heavy downpours and some thunderstorms, not severe at this time.
