Later this Summer on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. you’re invited to the Roberta Bondar Pavilion under the tent for a salsa extravaganza hosted by The Northern Ontario Latin-Hispanic Association (NOLHA).
For those who are unfamiliar, NOLHA is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to promote and celebrate Latin-Hispanic and Brazilian culture and heritage. NOLHA strives to enhance cultural awareness and enrich our community, providing experiences to further the understanding of the Hispanic culture.
“We are excited to be presenting salsa that will be led by many of our Latin members and volunteers who hail from Venezuela, Colombia and Mexico. They will be leading everyone in the beautiful dance of salsa, merengue and many other Latin dances to the upbeat rhythms of authentic Latin music.”
For dance and music lovers, this event is sure to get your feet moving. Whether you are a salsa lover or a salsa novice, there is no wrong way to dance so grab your dancing shoes and salsa down to the waterfront for the appeal of dancing outside “al aire libre,” and witnessing engaging performances.
All ages and skill levels are welcome! The first 150 families to arrive will receive a FREE NOLHA tote bag filled with goodies and coupons from our business community and local sponsors. We can’t wait to see you there!
