Well, another week has passed and that means it’s time for your weekly sports update with 705 Sports! Dan Gray joins me once again at the desk to talk about everything that has been going on this week in sports, and what a week it has been. We start with our poll question and our poll question this week is, Should venues force fans to be vaxxed to enter?
In the first segment, Dan and I stick to the vaccine topic in sports but take a deeper look. We then move on to the whole Nathan MacKinnon situation, we give our thoughts if he’s in the right or in the wrong. We wrap up the first segment with everything else that has been going on in the NHL in the past week.
In the second segment, Dan and I speak on the sad news regarding Tony Esposito and how he impacted the sport of hockey on and off the ice. We tell you about a new player who commits to the Soo Greyhounds plus Dan brings us a great update on the Blue Jays and what’s happening with their starting rotation.
In the third and final segment, we get to my favourite, the CFL. We break down the first week of the CFL and talk about some surprising moments that happened. We then move onto the second week of the season, there is one QB that both Dan and I feel needs to improve, and we give our thoughts on the rest of the week.
Thank you again for watching, I wanted to share that last week was our most-viewed episode of the show ever! So again, thank you so much to everyone who has helped make this happen. It really does mean a lot to me and I’m happy to be a part of your weekly routine. Until next time, bye for now.
