If you want to come to Sault Ste. Marie from the United States, be prepared to wait.
We have spoken with numerous people coming across the bridge today and the wait times were upwards of 4 hours.
The bridge is backed up almost halfway across the St. Mary’s River.
Wayne, who said he was waiting for someone to come from North Carolina told us they had been on the bridge since 9:30 a.m., as of 1 p.m. they had yet to come off the bridge.
With only three lanes open at the border, Lori told us of a friend who’s been on the bridge since 10:30 a.m. and is still stuck.
If you can avoid coming into Canada today, it might be well worth staying in the US for one more day.
Hello Neibours good to see you again. Please stay safe for your sake & very ones. Enjoy your little trip.
Much ado about nothing. People run around like chickens with their heads cut off, in a hurry to go nowhere special. That’s what they get for being in a hurry.
Someone told them about the new downtown plaza , they all want to see where it will be
Hi Dan,
Just to let you know…. It’s St Mary’s River.
Thanks Jo!
