705 Sports; Welcome back Greyhounds and OHL hockey!

Friday is my favorite day of the week and we all know why, it’s time for 705 Sports! Dan Gray joins me for the full half-hour this week as we have tons of sports to break down! We start off this week’s show as always with our poll question and the question this week is. What are you expecting out of the Hounds this year? A: Cup Contender, B: Playoffs, or C: unsure. Drop your answers in the comments section.

In the first segment, we jump right into the Greyhounds getting back on the ice, and some key players you may want to keep an eye on. We then move onto some CFL and recap week 4. Dan and I also talk about our games of the week, although Dan and I don’t agree on which game was the most exciting in week 4.

In the second segment, we jump right into our NHL updates. MLSE releases some new Covid 19 restrictions for attending all events and this might be a new trend for all NHL teams. John Tavares updates Leaf’s nation on how his offseason has been going and his recovery. New rumors about an outdoor game in Canada plus, we start our NHL season preview with one team from the western conference.

In the third and final segment, we jump right back into the CFL. We have an update on the Argos vs Elks game that was postponed. We break down all the CFL games on this Labour Day weekend, Dan and I pick our games of the week, and last but not least Dan and I have a friendly bet regarding the Argos vs Tiger-Cats game.
