Metro drives their support for Sault Ste. Marie community with new drive-in event

On Saturday September 11, Metro Retro Drive-In will take place in Sault Ste. Marie at Metro Churchill on 150 Churchill Blvd. The drive-in will begin as early as 7:30 p.m. with entertainment and the movie starting at 8:30 p.m. including family-friendly film “Matilda”.

The drive-in will feature live entertainment from Sault Ste. Marie’s very own Sault Community Theatre Centre, and a free snack bag featuring samples and coupons of local food vendors. The Locally Sourced producers that will be highlighted are Irwin Maple Products, Summerfresh, Top Shelf Collection, Yellofruit and Georgian Bay Granola Company.  Attendees will also have the chance to win prizes.

Tickets to the event are free with guests encouraged to donate to supporting Sault Community Theatre Centre – a non-profit that has been deeply impacted by the pandemic and works to keep performing arts accessible and affordable for those who need a place to call home.

Additionally, Interac is hosting a Small Business Marketplace to show love for local and support these wonderful community businesses.
