Regional Relief Recovery Fund for Non-Profits in Sault Ste. Marie and Area

As part of the Federal Government’s Regional Relief Recovery plan, the Board of Directors of the Community Development Corporation of Sault Ste. Marie and Area (CDC) have secured $90,000 to assist community partners and non-profits with small projects and activities that assist them in their recovery from the COVID pandemic.

According to Chairperson Jerry Dolcetti, “the CDC has been very active over the years supporting community and economic development in the Sault through tools such as our Loan Fund, Counselling and our Local Initiatives Fund.  Dolcetti feels this initiative, while modest, can be a catalyst for a number strategic projects requiring seed or supporting capital.”

Eligible applicants for the fund include, First Nations, municipalities, unincorporated communities, economic development corporations or other non-profit organizations operating within the boundaries of the CDC of Sault Ste. Marie & Area.  Check out the program criteria on our web site CLICK HERE to see if your project is eligible and download our application, or contact Glenn Adams at 705-942-9000 or at [email protected].

  1. Funny how fast that money starts flowing once it’s election campaign time – wish there was that effort and urgency normally.
Really, suddenly throwing so much money around so close to election time should be illegal, not like illegal things stop Trudeau. Can’t wait to read Jody Wilson-Raybould’s book about her time with Trudeau, not sounding very flattering so far.
