As the SIU investigation continues into the actions which surround the death of a 19-year-old and injury of Constable Ryan Vendramin, the constable is now home.

In public Facebook post made by Ryan’s parents, Mark and Sheila Vendramin, they have a video Ryan walking with crutches.

“Six weeks later Ryan is out of the hospital and very excited to officially be back home Due to the extent and seriousness of the injury and surgeries involved, Ryan’s wounds still need a lot of time to fully heal,” states the post. “He looks forward to his physio and rehab to keep him moving and to make progress. Ryan still has a very long road ahead, but everyone who knows him knows how determined he is to get through this and make a full recovery.”

They are extremely appreciative of all the prayers that are being said for him every day and ask you continue to pray for him during his recovery.
