Traffic slowed on major artery due to collision

Shortly after 4 p.m. this afternoon, Emergency services rushed to a location on the west end for reports of a motor vehicle collision.

Upon arrival just west of the intersection of Second Line and Cooper Street they encountered a two vehicle MVC.

From observations it appears one vehicle may have T-boned another while travelling in the area.

The cause of the accident is unknown as well as any injuries. Paramedics were seen

attending to at least one individual and firefighters worked to make the roadway safe.

Sault Police investigators could be seen photographing the scene and compiling statements.

  1. Every day is demolition day on our shot roads. We need more cops to put a stop to this aggressive driving that causes all of these preventable collisions.
