Helen retired from The Algoma Steel Tube Mill and was an avid Bridge player. Helen was a faithful member of St. Andrew’s United Church. She spent her summers on Heyden Lake where she enjoyed time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kind heart and loving nature. Those who knew her know that there isn’t enough space provided to list all of her qualities and accomplishments, and we will miss her dearly. Gern will be greatly missed by her best friend Brayden J.

A special thank you goes out to the staff at the SAH, 3B for their care and compassion especially Morgan and Bailey. Thank you also to Dr. Bowen and Dr. Schamp. Our gratitude goes out to Bev from Care Partners Home Health Care. We would also like to thank mom’s neighbours at the cottage Gordon and Glenda Hubley for all their kindness and support.

As per Helen’s wishes there will be no services at this time. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to St. Andrew’s United Church or Women in Crisis would be greatly appreciated by the family.
