On December 4, 2021 officers with Patrol Services charged 44-year-old John Reedy with break and enter.
Around 3:30 a.m. the accused entered a residence in the 100 block of Elgin Street. Upon entering the residence, the accused was confronted by a resident and fled the area. Police were notified and were able to locate the accused a short time later in the 300 block of Albert Street East.
Through the investigation officers determined the accused had entered the residence and he was arrested. A subsequent search of the accused found him to be in possession of a quantity of a substance believed to be green fentanyl and a substance believed to be cocaine.
He is charged with;
Break and Enter
Possession of a Controlled Substance x2
Breach of an Undertaking – Possession of a Substance Believed to be Cocaine
Breach of Probation – Failing to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour
He was held for WASH court.
