Today Algoma District School Board students and staff were wearing pink to support Pink Shirt Day.

Character building is a focus in ADSB schools all year long and wearing pink is one way we demonstrate that we are caring citizens.

This year, ADSB created Pink Shirt Day lawn signs and distributed them to each of our schools as well as to many community partners who chose to participate.

We want to “Paint the Town Pink” to promote good character and to share that we respect diversity and stand up against bullying in a unique and visual way.

Students and staff throughout the district are recognizing Pink Shirt Day with their t-shirts and are enjoying taking photos beside the lawn signs with its special message of “Think Pink – Think Student Safety & Well-Being!
