Robbery at Knife Point

On March 1, 2022, officers with Patrol Services charged 36-year-old Joshua Sleeman with robbery.

Around 5:30 p.m. the accused attended a business at the Station Mall, concealed an item on his person and attempted to leave without paying for the item. Staff attempted to stop the accused and at this time he pulled a knife on the victim, then fled the area.

Officers responded around 5:40 p.m. and located the accused in the 100 block of Dennis Street. While executing an arrest, the accused resisted. Officers were able to gain control of the accused and he was arrested. A subsequent search found the accused to be in possession of a knife, as well as the item reported stolen from the business.

Resisting a Peace Officer
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
