Your Child needs a Helmet – It’s the law, and these people want to help!

Soo Helmets on Kids wants to remind everyone that helmets save lives and wearing them is the law.

With the onset of summertime weather and the impending conclusion of the school year, kids everywhere will be riding, skating, skateboarding and scootering.  In anticipation of this community organizations have partnered to ensure that serious injuries will be avoided.

Free helmets are being provided, upon request.  You can go to or call (705) 998-2624 to request one today.  Pre-registration is recommended to avoid disappointment.  Once registered, you will be able to pick up your helmet at the Sault Ste. Marie Helmets on Kids event.  If any helmets are left over, they may be distributed to those who attend without pre-registering.

The Sault Ste. Marie Helmets on Kids Event is being held on Thursday, June 2 between 4:00pm and 7:00pm in the Roberta Bondar Pavillion parking lot, at 65 Foster Drive.
