One Charged with Weapon and Drug Offences

On June 29, 2022, officers with Patrol Services charged 18-year-old Alyssa Tucci with weapon and drug offences.

On October 19, 2021, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on North Street. At the time the driver was found to be wanted and arrested. The accused was a passenger and was able to leave the area. A subsequent search of the vehicle located a loaded .25 calibre handgun, and in a bag the accused was holding in the vehicle, officers located a conducted energy weapon, a knife that opens with centrifugal force, ammunition, approximately 10 grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl, approximately 1.89 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine, approximately 7.55 grams of a substance believed to be psilocybin, a quantity of lysergic acid diethylamide, four pills of hydromorphone, and approximately $2,600 in Canadian currency. The estimated value of the narcotics seized is $5,904.

As a result of the investigation a warrant was requested and issued for the accused’s arrest.

On June 29, 2021, observed the accused walking on Brien Avenue and discovered the accused was wanted in connection to the October 19, 2021 investigation.

The accused was arrested and charged with,

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • Careless Storage of Ammunition
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
  • Possession of a Prohibited Weapon x2
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance x4
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Possession of a Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized x2
  • Possession of Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

  1. Will any of these people do their deserved time? Not a chance. No wonder citizens want to be armed to deal with what the government will not when it’s quite often a matter of life or death when these drug and booze impaired thugs break your door down looking to rob and maim or possibly kill you for their next fix. The cops bust them and thanks to Trudumb they’re back on the street in a flash to carry on with their crime sprees.
