Drop off your Christmas tree in front of Winners until Jan. 14 for free

Don’t bring you Christmas tree to the landfill and pay money because Clean North is now accepting natural cut Christmas trees at its depot at the Cambrian Mall from now until Jan. 14 to be mulched on Jan. 15.

The depot is located in front of Winners.

If you are having trouble getting it there, Just Junk is offering to pick it up for free on Sat. Jan. 7. Just call Just Junk to make an appointment.

Clean North is also accepting CDs, DVDs, gently used books and magazines for Friends of the Library at Cambrian Mall at its depot in front of Winners.

It is also collecting blankets and towels for the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society.

Please note that Clean North is no longer collecting styrofoam at this event as it’s not locally recyclable.

It also does not collect cardboard or wrapping paper as this can be placed in your recycling bin.

Clean North has posted a long list of places you can recycle/donate unwanted stuff here.

If you have questions about Clean North’s Christmas tree collection, email [email protected] or call (705)945-1573.
