An arrest of three men on a Northland bus north of Sault Ste. Marie was the result of a joint investigation between OPP, Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie Police.
Police made the arrests in Heyden.
The men were wanted for a double shooting in Thunder Bay.
The Thunder Bay Police Services Major Crimes Unit were able to establish that 3 suspects had fled Thunder Bay following the shooting Tuesday.
TBPS investigators coordinated with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and the O.P.P. in the effort to take the suspects into custody. 3 men were arrested in Sault Ste. Marie mid morning. They will be facing charges in connection with Thunder Bay shootings which left a man and woman with serious injuries.
