UPDATE: The weather advisory issued this morning has now ended. The revised forecast for today is a mix of sun and cloud with the odd flurry this afternoon.  Becoming mainly cloudy by evening. Temperatures still cold with windchill.

We picked up 5.2cm before midnight last night and another 10cm overnight. Sault Ste. Maire could see another 5cm today thanks to lake effect snow showers in the wake of the Alberta Clipper that raced in Friday afternoon.

Hazards:
Snow, with additional amounts up to 5 cm this morning.
Reduced visibility in snow.
Northwesterly winds gusting to near 50 km/h this morning resulting in local blowing snow.

Lake effect flurries will continue through the morning before gradually tapering in intensity this afternoon.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery
