Currently a large structure fire at the intersection of 6-Mile Road and Mackinac Trail, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan is causing significant issues with traffic flow in the area.
Multiple fire departments have responded and are currently on scene.
In this moment associated roads are closed to traffic. Specifically, Southbound and Northbound Mackinac Trail as well as Eastbound and Westbound 6-Mile Road are closed.
The public is advised to reroute travel and to avoid the area until the blaze is brought under control.
