On January 31, 2023, officers with Patrol Services charged 37-year-old Kyle Case of Chelmsford, Ontario with operation while impaired.
Around 2:30 p.m. officers received a call of a possible impaired driver on Second Line East. Officers responded and located the vehicle matching the description provided and made a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers had the driver, identified as the accused, provide breath samples into an approved device.
Two samples were provided, registering two results exceeding allowable limits. The accused was arrested and charged with operation while impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80+).
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on April 3, 2023.
