With the intense rivalry between the Sudbury Wolves and the Soo Greyhounds, there is one more thing that the Sault should thank the Wolves for, other than filling our arena. The Sudbury Wolves used to have an advertising contract with Sault Transit that provided money for that service.
Tonight the matter of the contract with the Northern Transit and Arena Advertising Agency that previously placed ads for the Wolves locally will look to renew back-of-bus, side signage, top banner signage, window graphics, interior signage and more on the City fleet of buses.
The one-year contract extension will provide $39,000 locally and 5 per cent of the company’s total annual gross billings for transit services advertising will be paid.
