Your Local Weather Today – Thursday, March 16

Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day but we won’t be seeing a lot of green.  Looks like Old Man Winter wants one last swipe at us starting today and lasting through to Saturday. Temperatures today will be mild to start but will begin to cool off as a fairly big system heads our way. We could start off with rain or freezing rain then flurries will begin in the afternoon but intensify during the evening and overnight and then some gusty winds will develop. Those winds and periods of snow will last for most of Friday – right now the call is for 15 to 25cm by Saturday morning. Those amounts could drop depending on the track of the low pressure.
