– the SaultOnline Team

Co-founder of Superior Media established in the Fall of 2012, Northern Ontario's fastest growing "back to grass roots" online media and production hubs. Proud to be a part of the communities we serve and our team that makes our platforms SaultOnline.com, myAlgoma.ca and ONNtv a valuable resource in this Naturally Gifted area we all are so fortunate to call home.
Craig Huckerby is a seasoned broadcast and media professional with over 43 years in local media. Starting in television, Craig became known as "the weather guy" on local television before pioneering internet media in the Sault. Craig is credited for bringing local television back to the Sault via the internet in 2003 with LTVNEWS.COM and was instrumental in launching SooNews.ca and Local2.ca. Craig is happy to be part of the Sault's newest media team of ONNtv and SaultOnline.com. Craig has also won numerous International Film awards for director of the documentary, "Was I Next?, The Sean Cribbin Story"
A native of Centre Wellington, Ontario, I have worked as a freelance journalist all over the province of Ontario. Most recently I ran a local news page in my hometown of Fergus, Ontario. I look forward to bringing my experience covering breaking news, municipal matters and general interest stories to the team at Superior Media and communities we serve.
Jacob Moore is a graduate of Loyalist College with a degree in TV new media. He hails from Barrie where he developed a love of sports. He follows the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Argos with a great passion. When not working he loves to go to car shows with his 1991 Jetta. He also enjoys listening to and writing his own music.
Heidi is an acerbic and saucy wordsmith who was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie where her love of words began at an early age, when she questioned the doctor who delivered her as to his techniques in the birthing room. She did graduate from York University with an Honours BA in English which was then put to use in the hospitality industry. She supplemented her formal education with training at Toronto's The Second City and graduated after two years of study. A professional improvisor, she doesn't shy away from asking hard questions and her innate curiosity has brought her to this new role, ready to serve the news seekers of Sault Ste. Marie and supply them with the salient facts and stories they are keen to know. She is active in her hometown community, enjoys being outdoors and is thrilled to be a part of the team at Superior Media.
