    4 Part Stress Management Workshop Series

    Tuesdays Sept 4, 10, 17, 24
    KoppensFit – Home Studio, 15 Parkinworth Place

    This education and discussion based series will run 4 Tuesdays in a row for 60 minutes starting at 5:30pm on Tuesday September 3rd. Each week we will cover a topic, have discussion and explore ways to manage our stress.

    $60 and includes your own journal for taking notes and journalling exercises as well as all handouts.

    Workshop Agenda is as follows:

    Tuesday Sept 4th – “Recognizing Stress and the need for Self Care” – we will discuss the symptoms of stress and impact on our health, ways to provide self care including the use of sight, sound, and scent.

    Tuesday Sept 10th – “Mindfulness and Being Present” – we will discuss what being mindful and more present in our lives means and the science behind it’s benefits.

    Tuesday Sept 17th – “Breathing Techniques” – we will explore how the breath can be used to calm us down and also give us more energy by visiting various breath techniques.

    Tuesday Sept 24th – “Meditation” – we will talk about what meditation is, the benefits (research based), some ways to do it and then bring it all together with the previous 3 weeks’ information.

    This series of workshops will be take place in Angela Koppens-Davey’s, Owner of KoppensFit home studio at 15 Parkinworth Place.

    To secure a spot please confirm via email (koppensfit@live.ca) and payment can be made via e-transfer or dropping payment off at one of my classes or my home. Full payment must be received 3 days prior to the first evening. No refunds will be given; only credit towards other classes.
