SPREADING THE WARMTH that’s the goal of the 25th annual CTV Coats for Kids Campaign with the help of community supporters, volunteers and Community Living Algoma.
An annual sponsored program for the past 25 years. Coats for Kids provides infants, children, teens as well as adults with gently used winter jackets, snowsuits, boots and other suitable winter wear. The program began when it became clear that children of all ages were struggling through cold northern winters without the proper clothing to keep them warm and dry.
The following community supporters are currently collecting gently used winter jackets, snowsuits, boots and outerwear until Friday, October 26, 2019.
Drop off locations are as follows:
Fountain Tire – Black Road
Algoma Financial Group – Queen Street
Skeggs, Paciocco Law Firm- Queen Street
Floreani O’Toole, Dool Orthodontists – Bay Street
Jon’s Medicine Shoppe- Korah Road & Second Line
Great Lakes Honda – Great Lakes Honda
Coats for Kids distribution will be held at Community Living Algoma at 105 White Oak Drive East on Saturday, November 2nd from 9:30 am to 1 pm.
