Family dance and pizza party – Algoma Autism Foundation

The Algoma Autism Foundation invites you to a Christmas Family Dance and Pizza Party.
We hope this will be a fun event, for kids of all ages on the autism spectrum and their families.
Please note, this is not a fundraiser, nor is it open to the general public. It is a fun family event aimed at children on the autism spectrum or with other special needs, their siblings and their parents and grandparents.
Our friends at Grand Gardens Downtown will be serving up pizza (including gluten free pizza), chicken fingers, salads, fruit and veggie platters, cookies, coffee and tea. Cash bar.
Feel free to bring any other food and juice your child needs.
A DJ will be spinning kid-friendly tunes (at low volume) so please bring your dancing shoes.
Tickets are $10 each for everyone, with no charge for children 3 and under.
Please ensure you buy the correct ticket for the age of the guest. Why? We are covering part of your ticket price, which is why we can offer it to you for $10 each.
Grand Gardens charges less for those 10 and under. We need the breakdown, so Grand Gardens knows how much food to prepare and to ensure Grand Gardens are fully compensated.
We hope you can join us!
The Algoma Autism Foundation was founded in 2013 by a dedicated group who found a lack of support for people with autism in Sault Ste Marie and wanted to bring assistance and education to the citizens of this great community. We endeavor to foster acceptance in our community for all those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We aim to help those in need on the spectrum within Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District by providing added opportunity for them. We aim to provide tools for education and items for families and schools to aid in the positive development of those on the spectrum. Through hard work our entirely volunteer staff have been and will continue to make this possible.
