We have helped the Michigan Nature Association (MNA) keep the hiking trail clear in this Preserve several times in the past.
It’s time to help them again with a trail-clearing work day.
This preserve now totals 763 acres and is described by the MNA as “remote, wondrous, and a fine example of how nature looks when spared from human interference.” The trail is often wet and versatile hiking footwear is recommended. Ticks may be present. Please take precautions.
The Preserve is east of Pickford and is about a 40 km (32 mi) drive from Sault Ste.Marie. Dress for the weather and bring lunch. We will have a short birding walk before we start to work.
Meet Up At 7:45 am

Americans meet at 8:00 am at the MWC, Canucks
