    springThe countdown to spring is on! Until it arrives; kick those winter blues away with all the fun activities and crafts planned for the month of March.

    Pre-registration for all programs is required. Call 705-254-6474 to register, payments are required one week prior to each event or program.

    10:30 a.m. Senior Singers – If you are interested in joining the choir, drop-in to one of their practices. (January 10th to April 25th) The cost is Club Membership

    10:30 a.m. Wanna Bee Quilters – Join these ladies weekly to learn new quilting projects and patterns. This class is great for the beginner who wants to learn how to quilt. The cost is $2.00 per visit. (January 10th to May 30th)

    10:30 a.m. Energy Healing 101 Deep breathing, light stretching, Qigong Tai Chi and Yoga practices are integrated to help activate the body’s natural healing capabilities. Comfortable clothes, running shoes and yoga matt are required

    11:00 a.m. Stretching and Strengthening Cost: $8 per visit

    12:30 p.m. Border Squares

    1:00 p.m.  Club 119 Cards (January 3rd to May 30th) – Join fellow seniors to play “500”, Cribbage, Bid Euchre, or Bridge. Refreshments and a light snack will be provided. Cost: $2.00 at the door plus a Club Membership.

    2:15 p.m.  Carla’s Fitness (February 21st to March 14th) *Please bring your own yoga mat 

    5:00 p.m. Pickle Ball (Tuesdays & Thursdays January 10th – May 25th) This is a hybrid sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Equipment is provided Cost is $2 per visit.

    7:00 p.m. Darts (January 10th to May 23rd) For those persons who like to throw darts we invite you to join us each week. When you arrive we will divide up into teams. Fun for all! Newcomers are welcome to join. Please bring your own darts with you, refreshments are available. Cost is $2 per visit.

    7:00 p.m.  Duplicate Bridge – Algoma Cambrian Bridge Club (ACBC) meet five times per week to play duplicate bridge and socialize. Cost: $3.00 per visit
