Hunger continues to be an issue worldwide and we understand how difficult it is to end, but with the help of our community and schools, we hope to make an impact locally – ending hunger for as many families as possible right here in Sault Ste. Marie.

The students of the WE schools in Sault Ste. Marie and Maitland Ford Lincoln, will be running various activities within their schools and the community of Sault Ste. Marie to collect non-perishable food items until the end of October.

    Items in high demand include,

    Canned meats
    peanut butter
    cereal, pasta/sauce
    canned fruits and vegetables
Other items such as baby food and personal hygiene products are also gladly accepted.

Maitland Ford Lincoln challenges local businesses to compete to collect the most non-perishable food items. Sault Ste. Marie Residents are invited to drop off non-perishable food items to help fill the “HUNGER WAGON” in their showroom.
